Gibraltar is just over an hour from Puerto Banús, and our cars are allowed across the border. Tell us when you book and we will add the papers to the glovebox.
The border
Bring your passport and the rental agreement. Queues are short in the morning and long on Friday and Sunday afternoons. Once over, you cross the runway on foot or by car, which is as strange as it sounds.
The Rock
The Upper Rock is narrow, steep and busy with tour minibuses, and large cars are not allowed on some of the roads. Park in town and take the cable car, or book a local taxi tour to the top.
Coming back
Stop at Sotogrande on the way home for a late lunch at the marina. The G 63 is the easy choice for the day: high up, comfortable in traffic and room for everything you bring back.
